SAP Programme Controller

What you'll be doing:

As an SAP Programme Controller leading SAP Business Transformation programs, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading our high-performing SAP Project Teams and working closely with stakeholders across the business. In this role, you will manage integrated programme plans, dependencies, and risks (over £5 million), and lead virtual teams of permanent and contract resources to provide high levels of project delivery. You will be accountable for project risks, issues, and contingencies. You will leverage your excellent people skills to create an environment in which our SAP Consultants enjoy their work and deliver great results. Additionally, you will use your experience to ensure that the business makes appropriate decisions when implementing change. You will also be responsible for:

  • Analyzing project requirements, defining deliverables, and contributing to the definition of the business case and financial modelling.
  • Ensuring that project governance is followed, and accurate reporting and data are delivered to stakeholders.
  • Identifying, procuring, and managing the appropriate contracts and resources, including cross-functional, third-party, and divisional resources.
  • Implementing a consistent programme/portfolio management methodology to ensure that the project teams conform to appropriate governance.
  • Implementing structured development and performance management programmes for the team, including objective setting, regular reviews, feedback, and training.
  • Implementing integrated programme plans and planning controls

What experience you'll bring:

In addition to having successfully completed multiple full lifecycle projects in the role of a functional SAP Project or Programme Manager:

  • Experience in programme dependency management
  • Experience with S/4HANA transformation programmes
  • Strong product and application knowledge across the SAP Portfolio; SAP Activate certified
  • Strong knowledge of SOX
  • Extremely client-focused with the ability to guide a business through complex change and transition
  • Ability to work from the client office in Birmingham 2-3 days every 2-3 weeks
