Deployment Engineer
Technical Support, University Hospitals Leicester

The team you'll be working with:

Working within our EUC Operational team supporting local healthcare organisations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from clients or other employees
  • Assist management in creating training materials about computer troubleshooting and usage
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware issues
  • Shadow the eQuip Deskside and Talk teams to develop technical and business capabilities
  • Maintain a working log detailed where necessary and keep the CMDB up-to-date and accurate
  • Support the end-users using multiple communication skills and tools
  • Assist the wider teams to resolve technical issues and provide on-point support

What experience you'll bring:

  • Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required
  • Hands-on experience in a heavy customer focus position
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, other remote access desktop programs
  • Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services
  • Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows 10
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients
  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
