The team you'll be working with:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead a large-scale application development and support engagement within a major public sector programme.

This role requires a strong delivery leader who can operate across multiple technology towers, engage confidently in technical discussions with delivery teams, and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application development and support services in a complex, multi-technology environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing communication, expectations, and escalations.
• Provide technical oversight and engage in detailed discussions with engineering and support teams.
• Manage resources, including planning, allocation and utilisation across teams.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track and manage financial performance, including P&L, revenue and margin.
• Ensure delivery meets agreed SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.

What experience you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in IT delivery, across both application development and support.
• Proven progression from a hands-on technical role into delivery leadership.
• Experience managing large, complex delivery engagements in multi-technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior non-technical clients.
• Ability to switch between deep technical discussions and executive-level communication.
• Experience in resource management and financial oversight (P&L, revenue, margin).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.

Desirable

• Experience working with public sector clients.
• Experience in multi-vendor or managed services environments.
