The team you'll be working with:

Customer Experience Practice – we humanize complexity for real impact. Our duty is to bring meaning to technology and create a better experience for customers, clients, and communities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Enterprise solution development, integration and maintenance using Sitecore.
  • Create custom Sitecore components and modules utilizing Sitecore MVC and SPEAK.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Architect to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintain high availability.
  • Oversee the performance of live Sitecore applications, recommending areas of enhancement.
  • Follow and help enact best practices and coding standards to ensure high code quality – unit testing and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Champion the adoption of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud-native application development and architecture.
  • Coordinate with other CX practices to guarantee alignment with the overarching architectural strategy and client/project requirements.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Familiarity with Sitecore components such as Templates, Layouts, Dynamic Bindings, Sitecore API, and Rendering.
  • Experience in .NET programming architecture.
  • Solid experience of LINQ, Entity Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and SQL Server DB.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Sitecore's Helix architecture and SXA.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Sitecore with other systems via APIs.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Solr, Unicorn, and TDS.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like GIT, TFS/AzureDevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development
  • knowledge of DevOps, and code quality principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Geoffrey is a Senior Director in Customer Experience at NTT DATA UK&I, and has over 20 years experience in digital design and development helping clients on their digital transformation journeys. Before joining NTT DATA UK&I 6 years ago he worked for 10 years in Brussels with European Institutions and global companies building B2B, B2C and B2E platforms with a key focus on user experience and digital channel analytics. He specialises in delivering digital platforms from end to end, from user research and design to custom development and delivery. Extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, building teams locally and near/off shore to delivery mobile and web based platforms from employee operational efficiency to eCommerce.
