What you'll be doing:
- Aligning delivery teams and sub-domain architecture leads to the Domain(s) strategy as it evolves across our clients working across all business lines to link this to business strategies.
- Reviewing, defining and maintaining complex Strategic and Transitional Architectures working closely with UK and Group colleagues.
- Communicating complex concepts and strategies, to drive, challenge and influence a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure consistency of understanding and alignment of goals within the organisation - UK and Group - and externally.
- Managing domain Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure that the solution design(s) meets the clients strategic needs and goals.
- Ensuring that key architectural decisions are governed accordingly, providing guidance and input ensuring consistency in deliverables methodology and governance processes. Managing caveats and resolving associated actions.
What you'll need:
- Comprehensive Domain Specific knowledge and domain driven design experience, with a working knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate and API & microservice architecture solutions.
- Proven experience in defining & maintaining complex Strategic and Transitional Architectures .
- The ability to communicate complex concepts, to challenge and influence a diverse set of stakeholders in order to ensure consistency of understanding and alignment of goals.
- Experience of planning and organizing concepts, eg managing the Domain Solution Architects to review solution design for projects.
- Being flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to learn fast - new concepts and skills - and deal calmly with situations under pressure.
- Be passionate about driving and leading change by creating practical, workable architectures aligned to the bank’s IT principles and following the bank’s governance processes.
