As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Data Delivery Manager to join our Data & Intelligence team in London.
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a senior manager for our Data and intelligence practice to lead an effective transformation program with one of the top banks in the UK. The role will require the ability to work on day-to-day projects with a hands-on capacity if required
As a manager you will uphold the essence of the company, be a focal point for your team, colleagues and clients and be involved in decisions to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical deliveries like modern cloud data platforms, architectures and/or sophisticated data engineering pipelines.
- Lead and manage a team of technical experts, including data architects, engineers, and developers.
- Interface with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Influence technical decisions and provide guidance on best practices.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data delivery and management.
- Proven track record of delivering complex data deliveries on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of technical experts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and provide guidance on best practices.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with data technologies such as ETLs, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with agile project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a consulting or agency environment, delivering data solutions for clients in various industries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with data security and compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.

- Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
