What you'll be doing:

As our Senior PR & Communications Manager, you will join the business to support and drive our public relations, internal communications, thought-leadership, brand reputation.

The ideal candidate will bring solid PR, comms & content creation expertise ideally from a consulting and/ or technology organization. You will be excited by new storytelling opportunities and content formats across internal and external channels.

You'll work across many teams, ensuring business-wide communications ladder up to the same objectives and deliver outcomes successfully. Excellent writing skills are a must, as is the ability to take a complex topic and communicate it simply and clearly, adapting for different audiences where needed. You'll need to be an exceptional communicator and a strong team player and collaborator.

From an external communications perspective you will help the company achieve the highest share of voice on our chosen industry issues. From an internal communications perspective you will be responsible for helping to improve and build on our employee engagement programme, driving our internal comms activities.


Internal Comms

  • Evolving the overall strategy and producing compelling content to drive internal communications to support our employee engagement programme. These involve but are not limited to, weekly / monthly newsletters, townhalls, intranet, senior management / office comms
  • Work and liaise with senior management, including CEO, COO and HR department
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify and develop corporate narratives and POVs
  • Delivering a programme of communications that supports business priorities and change activity including our BAU activity.
  • Lead the integration of internal content and external campaigns, when appropriate, across social media, press, website etc
  • Collaborate with colleagues throughout the organisation including global colleagues to learn from, contribute to and to drive internal communication and knowledge sharing best practices.

External Comms

  • Initiate exciting and innovative PR & Social marketing efforts and campaigns to help promote the brand, that are closely integrated with overall marketing efforts and can help step-change our brand positioning.
  • Work with our PR agency to create content for external communications, including company statements, media pitches, blog posts, press releases, bylined articles, and more
  • Working with our agencies, develop a consistent set of high quality social media posts that develop and nurture our followers
  • Grow both quality and quantity of share of voice, amongst earned and owned media
  • Produce a cadence of good news stories, for example case studies and client stories that drive brand awareness
  •  Support the development of corporate initiatives, including D&I, ESG initiatives

What you'll need:

  • A journalist’s instinct for what constitutes a good story, and the ability to capture the story in prose.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and an ability to translate important messages into effective, persuasive content.
  • Ideally you will have experience of working in a professional services organisation. Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Able to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment while driving towards clarity and solutions.
  • Strong oral communication skills, with an excellent command of English.
  • Strong copy-writing skills (ideally you either have written blogs, articles and speeches).
  • Familiarity with knowledge management tools (e.g. Intranets, Internal Comms platforms, Sharepoint etc).
