As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Insurance team in London.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will work in partnership with our clients to deliver value, solve problems, and make a difference.
  • Proactive management of risks/issues and removal of impediments.
  • Financial/budget planning and management.
  • Resource and schedule management.
  • Facilitating and leading workshops.
  • Driving implementation of agile processes & methodologies, acting as an agile coach for your project team.
  • Ensuring delivery status/KPI reporting are updated and reported on accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Sprint planning & project road mapping.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet required standards.

What you'll need:

  • Experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Experience within Insurance sector not essential.
  • An understanding of Data Engineering, MI, or Data Migration would be desirable but not essential. The project is very technical an understanding of data migration would be beneficial, although there are a number of technical experts on the team already.
  • Needs to be agile. Must be able to manage senior stakeholders and third parties proactively – this is very important.
  • Prior experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Experience of working in a Technology Consultancy environment is preferred
  • Comfortable dealing with change, working to deadlines, and be capable of making transitions easily.
  • Excellent engagement and communications skills
  • Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train/influence others.
  • Ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment

PM Specific skills:

  • Project Management, stakeholder management, great and proactive communication skills, negotiations, documentation, presentation and reporting.
  • People management. Ability to lead teams with different seniority.
  • Agile working and continuous improvement mindset
  • Problem solving and design thinking
  • Being able to identify clients' needs and translate that into solutions that support business transformation, enable growth, or minimise risk
  • RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and documentation
  • Master the IT Delivery Lifecycle (analysis, design, development, test, UAT, deployment, etc.)
  • Flexibility. Ability to deal with uncertainty. Autonomy. Capacity to cope with dependencies on others.
  • Networking. Ability to develop internal relationships with different experts withing the client and our organisation

This role will involve a mixture of working from home, working from our Central London offices and our client’s offices if required. As a result, you will be able to enjoy London’s vibrant dynamics!
