What you'll be doing:

The software engineer is part of the feature Team. Their main task is the technical implementation of the business requirements (e.g. user stories).

The full stack software engineer is primarily responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining all server-side components.
  • Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
  • Designing/Developing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
  • Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
  • Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
  • Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
  • Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.

Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.

What you'll need:

Relevant experience: 4+ years' experience with Node.js applications:

  • Working within agile multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Agile knowledge, working within modern DevOps approaches.
  • Strong on communication and working with other team members
  • Extensive experience with common backend Node libraries such as Express, Apollo, Restify, Grunt, Mocha, Jest etc.
  • Good understanding of React and commonly used modules (Material UI, Enzyme, React Virtualized etc.)
  • Test Automation and tools e.g. Jest, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Pupeteer
