What you'll be doing:

Would you like to be part of a team that is defining the future of Cloud Transformation Services for NTT DATA UK? The UK Cloud COE is pioneering the evolution of Cloud advisory and services offering to accelerate our maturity, market recognition, expert capability and profitable revenue growth in this high growth technology segment. The CoE is seeking to recruit Cloud Delivery Consultants to lead pre-sales, advisory services and Cloud delivery across our diverse client base.

As a Cloud Delivery Consultant, you will have experience of performing Cloud consultancy and advisory services covering strategy, transformation and optimisation coupled with a high attention to detail and a good level of financial awareness and focus on delivering tangible business value for our clients.


The role requires strong client facing communication skills with the ability to shape propositions, support sales activities, deliver client projects, lead teams (on/near/off shore) and manage cross-functional client staff and stakeholders in a variety of contexts, covering multiple sectors, including telecoms and media, banking, insurance, and public sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Input into and drive the creation of go-to-market propositions in Cloud
  • Support client partners and practice leads in pre-sales activities.
  • Act as a go-to practitioner in the area of Cloud advisory and delivery.
  • Analysis of client requirements and development of best fit solutions and delivery approach
  • Creating reports, documentation and client presentations to demonstrate the value of the work delivered
  • Ability to deliver a range of Cloud advisory services such as:
    • Cloud Strategy
    • Maturity Assessments
    • Modernisation approach
  • Keeping updated on new and emerging trends in Cloud solutions and services
  • Supporting and working with client partners to enable account growth
    • Identification of Sector trends and GTM opportunities
    • Responding to RFI and RFP tenders
    • Development of SoWs for delivery

What you'll need:

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of delivering Cloud advisory services utilising a broad range of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS expertise, coupled with business and commercial awareness. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Exceptional background Consulting and Cloud Delivery to solve real world client challenges.
  • Comfortable developing and shaping the project vision.
  • Ability to operate in demanding situations whilst still having relentless drive to deliver with enthusiasm.
  • Technical expertise in at least one of the main hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and expertise in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with various delivery methods, waterfall, scrum, agile and DevOps practices
  • A good understanding of Cloud economics and how to delivery a best-fit and optimised solution for our clients
  • Great project management and communication skills.
