As part of the growth of our Digital Engineering team, we are looking for a talented Technical Delivery Manager to join us.
In this role, you will lead the execution of profitable professional digital service delivery for NTT DATA and clients bringing together the different service capabilities and propositions. The role will align on delivery approach, tools and processes with other accounts, sharing good practices, excellence in understanding application engineering processes and supporting technology solutions initiatives where relevant.

We would like to meet someone with a solid knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle and experience in Chapter delivery of software products as well as significant experience with agile development methods & tooling (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence) and of leading & working as part of an agile team.
Ultimately, depending on your level, you will show a certain depth of understanding and breadth of experience across varios areas, such as Project Scoping, Estimation, Risk Planning, Team Building, production Support and Technical Understanding. As a Technical Delivery Manager at NTT DATA UK, you will lead teams from 5 – 60 people and will be responsible for delivering on one of our major accounts with high levels of complexity. You will manage multiple delivery teams or squads via lower level delivery staff for example scrum masters/agile delivery leads across onshore, nearshore and offshore.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
Management of demand planning, forecasting, budgeting, planned VS actuals reporting and prioritisation of project work within the team
Define, lead and monitor all team delivery ensuring adherence to delivery methodology, quality and architectural principles, to deliver business goals and minimise technical debt
Being the point of escalation from clients perspective for delivery issues
Recruitment and retention of talent. Manage, motivate and develop employee at all levels to NTT DATA policies and procedures
Occasional support and work with client partners on pitches providing solutioning and mainly delivery-driven inputs to win new deals. Understanding of client’s strategic objectives and tailoring NTT DATA services and approaches to enable client to achieve their strategy journey
