Delivery Manager is a pivotal role in fostering relationship with customer delivery organisation. The role takes full accountability for delivering contracted service to the customer. Delivery manager takes on both technical and administrative roles in managing team performance, control the quality of service delivery and track finances.

You will be joining delivery service line responsible for all things Applications. From Development to Testing and DevOps to Architecture, we provide a world class service to our clients across the whole lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:

As an experienced Delivery Manager with strong IT professional services focus, you will be key to driving the execution of profitable professional digital service delivery. The role is accountable for implementation of the delivery strategy and plan for the customer account, ensuring that current and future needs of the client are met and exceeded, for all services provided to the client by NTT DATA.  Successful execution of the role brings together the different service capabilities on behalf of the client and NTT DATA. 

The role requires IT delivery experience covering all disciplines from business requirements through to live service support, alongside experience in delivery of enterprise level distributed/scalable systems.

You will report to the Delivery Director, working closely with client partners and being the face of the delivery organisation for the client portfolio that they represent.

What you'll need:

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Takes the lead role in managing customer relationships
  • Mentors team members on delivery management best practices and process improvement opportunities
  • Manage delivery team to ensure delivery tempo is maintained by actively addressing internal and external risks, issues and dependencies and ultimately ensure that the delivery team meets customers’ requirements
  • Establish delivery best practices such as governance structure, status reporting, escalation matrix, communication model for the engagement
  • Primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Primary contact for discussing new resource requirements, resource contract extension
  • Establishes communication channel with offshore and onshore teams, sets communication expectation to balance the cultural differences and streamlines communication
  • Provide report to senior stakeholders
  • Coach team members, facilitate performance improvement through mentoring and training
  • Manage team effectively by bringing the people together to form a motivated team and help create a right environment for the team to be successful
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and innovation
