You will be joining this rapidly growing service line responsible for all Managed Service contracts to all of our customer across all sectors. We cover Service Operations and service desk, AMO, Cloud technology, End User Compute and legacy ITO. We align with ITIL and are agnostic across our delivery capability in relation to core IT, cloud, service desk, EUC tools and technologies.

As a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer, you will have a high level of technical knowledge and experience across IT Infrastructure at an enterprise level, coupled with the provision of BAU operational support and project delivery for customers across all infrastructure towers.
You will have experience of performing the role of a consultant, designing and implementing solutions to business requirements, with the ability to contribute to technical strategy, service development and provide innovation.
This role requires you to have detailed technical knowledge of Microsoft Server, Exchange, VMware, Citrix, VDI Unix/Linux and Public Cloud (Azure/AWS) and good knowledge of Enterprise Backup and Storage platforms gained in previous technical support roles.
You should hold current SC level security clearance or be willing and eligible to be put through the process.
This role will work closely with customers to assist them in both BAU support and the delivery of new infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the managed services team in the advanced troubleshooting of incidents within customer environments.
Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels.
Perform technical root cause analysis on reoccurring incidents or major incidents.
Assist engagement with projects to ensure designs of technical solutions are in line with the requirements of the customer.
Ensure technical documentation is completed and updated to professional standards.
Proactive management of customer environments, identifying potential improvements to deliver increased stability, availability and performance.
Input into the development of infrastructure roadmaps, customer proposals, impact assessments and statements of work for the delivery of further solutions.
Contribute to delivering technical excellence across the wider Infrastructure team.
