You will be joining our thriving PMO community, sitting within the Central PMO function, working on client driven projects.

About you:

As a PMO Lead, you will have experience of performing a similar role previously within a professional services company ideally alongside Public Sector accounts, where you will have gained a strong understanding and experience of project delivery and acceptance processes, a high attention to detail and a good level of financial awareness, coupled with an excellent knowledge of project and programme management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.

The role requires you to have strong analytical, interpretation and reporting skills, as well as having the confidence to suggest and implement continuous improvement activities.

What to expect:

The role will sit within our Central PMO function and will be directly supporting one of our established Public Sector clients.

The responsibilities will include:

• Delivery and Leadership – Lead PMO and champion the use of best practice project management standards and processes. Including the delivery of Business Case benefits and outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management – Advise the team on best-practice tools and techniques for managing stakeholder relationships.
• Risks and Issues – Establish processes and standards for managing risks and issues and quickly identify and raise risks and mitigations as they occur.
• Governance and Assurance – Ensure appropriate governance is in place and monitor effectiveness of controls and ensure that recommendations from external reviews are acted upon.
