The team you'll be working with:
As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an OutSystems Senior Developer to join our team within the Customer Experience department in London on full-time permanent basis. During your time with us you will be exposed to a broad and interesting range of projects and the aim is to equip you with the right knowledge and skills to become a leader of the future!
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the design, architecture, and development of complex OutSystems applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technology best practices.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in code quality, architecture, and testing.
- Collaborating closely with the Tech Lead, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions and roadmaps for projects.
- Utilizing your deep knowledge of OutSystems, including Reactive Web and Mobile applications, to develop and optimise scalable and maintainable applications.
- Designing and optimising database structures, including advanced SQL programming (e.g., joins, indexing, query optimization).
- Driving UX/UI best practices and ensuring that the applications are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet high design standards.
- Managing the full application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment, with strong attention to detail and performance optimization.
What experience you'll bring:
- The role requires to be a resident in the UK for at least 3 years
- BSc. in Computer Science or related field of study is desirable
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with OutSystems, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
- Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, .NET, SOAP, REST, and their integration into OutSystems applications.
- Solid experience with database architecture, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies, with experience leading Agile teams or projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Strong leadership, autonomy, and the ability to drive solutions independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum OutSystems certifications required: OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer
- Valued certifications: OutSystems Professional Traditional Web Developer, OutSystems Mobile Developer Specialist, or OutSystems Architecture Specialist
