What you'll be doing:

Dependent on experience, you will use your background in Security OT & IOT to support our clients by;

  • Protecting industrial environments and critical infrastructure from cyber threat & risk.
  • Work within different industry sectors and agreed timelines to; discover, evaluate, define, recommend, design, implement & configure Secure OT/IoT solutions, services and outcomes.
  • Provide advisory & technical expertise to securely design & deploy industrial control systems & operational technologies.
  • Leveraging your core competence and industry standards, frameworks and good practices to review, enable, validate or define client Security outcomes.
  • Identify;
    • Safeguards for industrial control systems, SCADA systems, and other critical infrastructure
    • Client & regulatory needs for Security technology architectures and adoption
    • Methods for assessment as well as Security requirements, covering functional & non-
    • Risks, gaps, issues and failings in client Security solutions, designs and configurations.
  • Define;
    • ICS security control frameworks, based on industry good practices, both UK & international standards, frameworks and norms.
    • Supporting Security processes, encompassing both technical and procedural controls
    • Architecture and infrastructure solutions for Industrial Control Systems (SCADA / DCS / IIoT)
    • Work with other teams to agree Implementation plans and effort
    • Appropriate; metrics, and processes to achieve client objectives and targets.
  • Enact;
    • The setup of test, development and production Cloud Security environments
    • Cloud Security technology implementation & configurations
    • Robust practices for the protection of Cloud systems
  • Oversee, evaluate, and support;
    • Discovery and audits, for the extraction of findings
    • Documentation, validation, assessment, and authorisation
    • GRC consultants, Service & Solution architects in the securing of products / services.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of experience in OT & IoT Security technologies, methodologies &/or frameworks.
  • MUST have experience in implementing and/or operating one or more of the following:
    • Microsoft: Sentinel, Lighthouse, Defender
    • Nozomi
    • Claroty
    • Armis
  • Work within a wide range of styles, having ability to build good working relationships with delivery teams and stakeholders, as well as communicate with architects, business people, and technologists.
  • Willingness to learn new Security skills and build experience from working in different security domains
  • Advanced understanding of network fundamentals and network security design, including ability to develop network illustrations for industrial automation and control systems.
  • Experience working with SCADA/modern SCADA, DCS, PLC, EMS- including connected technologies. Experience should cover communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC 61850, OPC, OPC UA and PROFINET.
  • Depth of knowledge and application of leading Security Standards and Guidelines e.g., National Institution of Standards Technology Cyber Security Framework (NIST) CSF & NIST 800-82r3, ISO27001:2013/2022, (ISA)/IEC 62443 series of standards, NIS & NIS2 regulations, NCSC UK CAF & eCAF, CPNI guidelines.
  • Evidence of leaded awareness in IT/OT security trends and common vulnerabilities. Experience should cover how to develop pragmatic remediation solutions and/or fixes against an organisation’s threat landscape and cyber risk profile.
  • Hold relevant Security certifications and/or associated Technology certifications e.g.: GICSP, GRID, CSSA, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, ICS/SCADA platforms.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
