The team you'll be working with:

Our Security Practice business continues to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Junior Cloud Security Engineer to join us.

Joining NTT Data’s Security Practice as a Cloud Security Engineer will allow you to play a pivotal role in helping to shape our client’s transformation journeys – this opportunity will allow you to work across a variety of sectors and projects, building creative new solutions and sharing knowledge with the wider Security team, whilst working together to grow the Security Practice.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Working within the Discovery, Design and Implementation phases to evaluate, define and implement security technology and controls, as well as support operational management of cloud based security technologies.
  • Working under routine direction, and using discretion to resolve issues or enquiries. Determining when to seek guidance in unexpected situations.
  • Using industry standards, frameworks and good practices (such as ISO’s, NIST, CAF, CIS) to review, enable, validate or define work activities
  • Identifying technical requirements for protecting the organisation mission and business processes. and Gaps, issues and failings in Security control adoption and configuration. 
  • Setup of the test and production environment, using robust practices for security service and configuration
  • Working with the service architects and engineers, assisting them to secure their products/services.

What experience you'll bring:

  • A background in Security Engineering.
  • Experience in two of the following Microsoft: AD, Key Vault, Entra, Sentinel, Defender, Purview
  • Experience in at least one of the following; Okta / CrowdStrike / Zscaler / Exabeam / Rubik / OneTrust / Synopsys / Cyberark / Aqua Security.
  • Nice to have: any other Security technologies
  • Expertise one of the 3 main cloud technologies: AWS, Azure or GCP knowing how to configure the full security product suite.
  • Track recod exxperience with Linux and Windows.

  • We also work within Public Sector clients where UK Gov. Defence Vetting to such as SC will be required, as such you hold or are willing to hold vetting certification is essential
  • Good understanding of the protocols underpinning the web - TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS.

  • Good understanding of hardware load-balancing, firewalls, multi-tiered architectures
