Agile Delivery Manager(SC Cleareable)

What you'll be doing:

  • Manages and controls small project budgets working closely with Business Owner/Programme Manager within Central Government project budget up to £2m​
  • Responsible for project End-to-End delivery following GDS Agile Phases, NTTD delivery standards and Client governance requirements
  • Facilitates project planning from scoping discoveries through to Beta delivery
  • Leads cross-functional teams including facilitating agile ceremonies including team management and coaching
  • Works closely and ensures effective communication and dependency resolution with wide range of stakeholders (PMO, PMs, Business and end-users, 3rd party suppliers)
  • Operates effective project controls employing effective Risk, Issue and Dependency management​
  • Facilitates continuous improvements via team retrospectives and wider programme Lessons Learnt following performance measurement framework

What experience you'll bring:

  • Awareness of security concepts relevant to the Central Government domain.
  • Experience working with Central Government processes and methods, including the GDS Service Standard and Technical Code of Practice.
  • Experience running large scale discovery projects as per GDS Service Standard
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrable experience of portfolio / project planning processes, techniques and methodologies​
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills​
  • Managing multiple project risks dealing with uncertainty, whilst being proactive and forward looking​
  • Detailed knowledge of strategic business objectives and drivers and complex organisational designs and structures, and how this relates to portfolio being managed​

Certifications:

  • PRINCE 2 Certified​ and / or Association for Project Managers Professional (APMP)​ preferable
  • Certified Scrum Master and / or other Agile certificated (SAFe, Kanban Academy) preferable
