Who we are:

Are you interested in joining a growing Design team within innovative, collaborative, client focused and low ego environment?  We are looking for Content Designers who write high-quality, user-focused content and understand service, digital products, technology and people.

At Tangity, the global studio of the NTT DATA Design Network, we break down complexity to the human scale. We create tangible and intuitive solutions that have a positive impact on companies and society.

As a design studio, our job doesn't stop once a product is launched, it continues until the idea succeeds out in the wild. We accompany businesses on their path of evolution or radical innovation, including testing, measurement, and optimization, while empowering their way of work. We help them look toward the future and imagine the long-term impact their solutions will have on people, the planet and society.

To do so, we focus on people's needs and desires and leverage all of NTT DATA's technology. NTT DATA, Trusted Global Innovator, is a dedicated IT services and solutions partner for customers worldwide: headquartered in Tokyo and employing more than 100,000 professionals in over 50 countries.

What you'll be doing:

  • We aim to create services and information simpler, clearer and faster for people and businesses.
  • We always start with user needs. We create digital products and services that people want to use, and words play a big part in that. You’ll represent users with the written word, so you need to be user-focused and know how to write with a user in mind first and foremost.
  • Scoping, commissioning, writing, editing, and publishing digital content, especially UX writing
  • Making sure user journeys are the best they can be
  • Managing relationships with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate
  •  Producing content assets that are accurate, timely, high quality (based on insight and outputs of user testing, relevant to the audience, easily understood, optimised for search engines) and to style
  • Choosing the best format for displaying information to the user - if one doesn’t exist, we’ll want you to suggest ideas or identify the gap
  • Make sure appropriate policy and legal checks happen if and where necessary, and that content is published quickly and efficiently
  • Monitoring the performance of content and tools
  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team to understand user behaviour and feedback
  • Identifying ways to improve the content and the product
  • Providing constructive criticism to your colleagues to improve everyone’s skills and work
  • We work in an agile environment. You must be at ease with rapidly changing deadlines, workloads and goals.

What you'll need:

  •  Extensive experience in writing for the web, with proven ability to create content that is accessible and usable
  •  Proven experience in using metrics and user feedback to define and improve the content
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience in working with content publishing systems
  • Take complex language and processes and make them simple to understand
  • Make a case for user-focused design
  •   Be able to explain your decisions clearly
  • Help with developing content plans and attend planning meetings with contacts
  •  Develop and apply content and format strategies with support from a content strategist
  • Develop and manage relationships - within project teams

As part of the team, you also need…

  • Be a great teammate – muck-in, support and ‘have the backs’ of your teammates
  • Act with integrity - we value honesty and doing the right thing
  • Be smart – we are critical-thinking individuals
  • Commit to quality - whether it is a good design or a well-written email, we never cut corners
  • Think laterally
  • Love to have a good time – we like to laugh, socialise, and have a good relationship with our colleagues.

...and finally:

What can we offer you?

  • Multicultural environment
  • Opportunity to work on NTT IP-led projects to support your ideas and have a positive impact on society
  • Empathy and Flexibility
  • Help decide the way we shape the growth of Tangity, through our Culture Club, Growth Club and Ops Club, you’ll play a part in those decisions

This is a fantastic time to join the company as we continue to grow rapidly!
