As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Release Manager to join our Application & Engineering Management department, who will work in our London-based office, in partnership with our clients to deliver successful technology projects, programmes & services. As a member of the team, you will be expected over time to gain insight into various technologies deployed to our clients including best practices like DevOps, ITIL and Agile ways of working. A hands-on approach to technology and exception engagement skills will allow for the successful candidate to achieve success within the role.
You will own the Release Management Lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications. The releases will include application enhancements, system patches, security improvements, projects and programs.
The Release Management Lifecycle will include managing the release calendar of code deployments into Development, Test and Production Environments. Our intention is to continue with code deployments following a release train methodology, where overall signoff for the release into production is provided by the Head of IT.
The Release Manager will assist in managing projects and interdependencies, to ensure milestone adherence and integrity of the release. You will be working alongside a range of experienced and passionate technology and retail professionals, including Governance Team, Devops and Agile teams, and wider Business colleagues.
