R6 Config Analyst
About you:
Role description
R6 Config Analyst is responsible for the R6 configuration service, wherein various configurable items such as products, price points, channels, and inventory are updated as per the business requirements for NTT DATA’s Telecom client. The R6 configuration team also deals with configuration related incidents as Level 3 support team. Typically, the configuration changes are applied once a month as a regular release cycle or ad-hoc for priority changes and bug fixes.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsible for triaging and resolving config related incidents
- Assessing the configuration requirements provide by the business to identify whether the requirements can be fulfilled through configurations and/or requires code changes
- Using the MCD Tool, develop/generate the master MCD for the configuration work requests
- Packaging and delivering the configuration changes to Dev, Test and prod environments
- Be available on-call to support production deployment of R6 config releases
- Create or update knowledge articles based on the incident and problem learning.
- Create and update knowledge articles to improve process adherence, to provide how-to/self-service guidance in order to reduce end-user dependency on operations team
- Responding to business user queries
Experience/Skill/Capability Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
- 4+ years of IT professional experience within a global organisation
- 2+ years’ experience with R6 Concept to Cash platform
- 2+ years’ experience in Telecommunications service
- 2+ years’ experience of R6 Config Analyst experience
- Should have the ability to identify right prioritisation of incidents, which requires in-depth billing domain knowledge
- Should be able to switch between various tasks seamlessly
- Capable of analysing new requirements and provide solution delivery estimates
- Strong knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle
- Have a good understanding of application architecture, data architecture, infrastructure and business processes
