As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for defining and designing the architecture which underpins clients digital ecosystems. The Digital Architect demonstrates competencies in understanding business objectives. This involves having a deep understanding of business outcomes, capabilities, value streams and processes, and linking them to the portfolio of solutions (including projects, products, services and other systems).
The Digital Architect also provides guidance on best practices, new trends, approaches, and impending digital technologies and interacts with stakeholders to define future states while continuing to oversee current technologies and architectures.
What you'll be doing:
- Review and analyse user requirements, recommend and develop solution proposals to meet customer’s requirements and ensuring the alignment with enterprise wide digital architecture strategy.
- Accountable for producing solution designs to maintain and improve digital systems
- Develop and maintain digital platform architecture blue prints.
- Keep up to-date with the latest digital technology trends, performing POCs and acting as a Coach for the adoption of the latest digital technologies.
- Ensuring solutions conform to Architecture Principles
- Delivery of Digital Impact Assessments, including sizing estimates for squad effort
- Identify security impacts and circulate to other teams
- Be responsible for the delivery of Digital architecture artefacts and review non-digital artefacts
- Work with 3rd Party service providers when necessary
- Understand key regulatory requirements (Ofcom, PCI, EU GDPR, Digital Economy Act etc.) and their potential impacts on Digital solutions/Products
- Be commercially aware when assessing impact
What experience you'll bring:
- TOGAF or any other relevant Architecture certification desired.
- Extensive experience in solutions development, enterprise architecture, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the latest digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, IoT, data science and analytics, cloud computing, Integration, DB technologies (relational, document) etc.
- Demonstrable experience as a solution architect
- Ability to present and communicate your design work
- Experience in designing and deploying solutions in cloud-native enterprise applications in public, private and hybrid cloud models (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Bring an entrepreneurship and product mindset to provide the technical leadership in the development of technical designs, functional specification and relevant documentation as per client standards.
- Deep understanding of the microservices, headless and event driven and Integration architecture.
- Ability to manage changing business and technical requirements in highly dynamic project environments
- Previous experience in either an application, service or development role
Nice to have
- Experience of Digital Experience Platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud or Liferay.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and their deployment within enterprises
- Experience on Cloud Data solutions in the context of Digital Service
- Experience of Telecom Domain Systems
