What you'll be doing:

The Datawarehouse Support Lead will play a development & support lead role working as part of the NTT DATA team. This role will report into the Delivery Manager for the NTT DATA account team.

The person playing this role will build strong working relationships with key client and NTT DATA stakeholders.

  • Developing & supporting ETL solutions in SQL Server: MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, MS SQL Administration, Azure Data factory, and Azure MSSQL.
  • Debugging issues, finding the root cause, and applying fixes.
  • Taking business requirements and work with other team members to estimate and design end-to-end solutions.
  • Managing and maintain all aspects of ETL from development, bug fixing, batch job monitoring.
  • To Provide 'hands on' technical support and escalation (through Incident, Change & Problem Management procedures) and to ensure that SLA's are achieved, whilst also looking for ways to improve the day to day IT delivery.

What you'll need:

  • Development & production support background with exposure to Data Warehousing at scale
  • Experience developing & supporting ETL solutions in SQL Server: MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS
  • MS SQL Administration, Azure Data factory, Azure MSSQL
  • Code Review & Unit Testing, Source Control
  • Exposure to DW development practices (code & configuration management, build processes) 
  • Appreciation of design patterns and practices that apply to the data warehouse space (e.g. Data Modelling) 
  • In-depth experience in data warehousing concepts - ELT, Datamodelling techniques.
  • First Line, Second Line and hands-on Operational Support experience (Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, etc.)
  • The ability to design and advocate for technical solutions to business problems.
  • Strong understanding of delta (batch) processing, slowly changing dimensions, data marts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
  • Training & Certification (desired):
    • Azure Data Fundamentals DP900
    • Designing an Azure Data Solution DP201
    • Implementing an Azure Data Solution DP20
    • Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure DP203
    • Preferable ITIL certified, but at a minimum ITIL aware
