As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a ETRM Technical Consultant – Allegro to join our Energy & Utilities team in London.
What you'll be doing:
- Engage with functional consultants and define technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Define Technical Specification Documents.
- Unit, System, Integration and Performance test solutions.
- Manage and validate solution options such as working methodology, approach and feasibility to implement.
- Peer review technical solution design and code.
- Understanding of the energy/commodity industry end-to-end. Power, Gas and / or Oil knowledge is preferred.
- Able to work with a geographical dispersed IT project delivery team and business stakeholders.
What you'll need:
- Technical configuration /build experience of Allegro Class events (C# / .NET).
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience of full end to end project delivery methodology.
- An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train/influence others.
- Experience in both physical and financial trading environments preferred.
- Strong problem identification skills and creativity to develop new, innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.
