The team you'll be working with:

The role is a key part of the UK Facilities team, leading General Services for our UK Property Portfolio. Covering a variety of activities and responsibilities, the role is a lynchpin for how we operate; engaging with suppliers, internal stakeholders. The role is responsible for running and managing the General Services Team.

The ideal candidate will be highly personable, professional, able to multitask and deal with a busy workload. You will have a high attention to detail, be enthusiastic, energetic and proactive with excellent team spirit and a passion for dealing with people.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of hard and soft services in relation to all the UK properties
  • Support the Head of RE&WP in ensuring all NTT offices comply with relevant security and environmental standards
  • Work closely with IT Support Engineers to ensure workspaces are always fully functional from an IT perspective
  • Monitor the condition of office fittings and fixtures ensuring asset register is maintained
  • Maintaining site reports for all offices - supplier certification, service reports and weekly/monthly worksheets.
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers in ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaising with landlord on day-to-day issues
  • Chair monthly meetings with external service providers and ensure they comply with service level agreements, escalating
  • issues to the Head of RE&WP when required
  • DSE assessments reviews
  • Health and Safety coordination and part of the Environmental champions.
  • Manage the Front of House team.
  • Work closely with other members of the RE&WP team in developing and improving the services.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Team Management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing
  • Good customer relationship skills demonstrable by experience
  • A collaborator but able to work under own initiative and able to escalate matters when required
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to demonstrate proactiveness and continuous improvement
  • Experience of standard Microsoft applications
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
