What you'll be doing:
NTT DATA are looking for a Delivery Director with an exceptional background within Commodity Trading to join our exciting, rapidly growing and high calibre practice. We are seeking someone who can oversee and drive what we are doing in this space.
This represents a key leadership role within the Commodity Trading Sector. The key focus is to drive growth across the existing account portfolio whilst ensuring that high standards of delivery are set and maintained; interfacing regularly with senior Client sponsors. The role also covers delivery ownership for major bids within the sector; ensuring that robust but competitive solutions are scoped and developed. In addition, the role encompasses delivery assurance (as the first point of contact for delivery escalations within the territory) and the mentoring of project and service delivery managers in order to support and accelerate their development.
There will be multiple responsibilities, but here are some examples.
- Accountable for delivery strategy and execution across Commodity Trading accounts ensuring that the current and future needs of the clients are met and exceeded, for all services provided.
- Manage the successful mobilisation of new project teams and the transitioning/commencement of new services.
- Demonstrate leadership and initiative in driving new sales opportunities based on an in depth appreciation of NTT DATA UK and partner capabilities/propositions.
- Act as a key client influencer to determine/shape requirements in complex and often ambiguous environments.
- Accountable for delivery of a broad spectrum of technologies and capabilities within the Commodity Trading domain.

Our successful candidate will be an experienced Delivery Director who has proven business wining experience within the Commodity Trading Domain, as well as a strong track record of Client-side development/delivery in this domain.
We need someone who has an exceptional track record of delivery at the highest level in the Commodity Trading Domain on large scale and complex programmes. Someone who can display demonstrable experience as the Delivery Director for successful large scale and complex bids (£10m+). The successful Delivery Director will have an exceptional knowledge of Commodity Trading processes and methods.
We hire people who are broad in their thinking and want this experience to reflect our capabilities, being able to span consulting, project and managed service delivery environments. Experience in professional services is essential.
