What you'll be doing:

We are building a new capability within our Test practice, including strong Automation skills. This is an exciting new proposition we are developing for our customers across all sectors.  You will:

  • Be an evangelist for all things QA Automated related by advising and recommending QA and Testing best practice at company and project level across the full Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Create test automation frameworks.
  • Provide QA governance to the development teams ensuring that appropriate testing coverage is in place and is at a sufficient level.
  • Review design artefacts for testability and define overall testing plans.
  • Define test strategies to support the development of major new features or of new applications.
  • Design, implement and document test environments and frameworks supporting the agreed strategy.

What you'll need:

As an experienced QA Automation Lead working within the Test practice here at NTT DATA, you will be working with one of our largest Telco clients with expertise in Automation Testing, Agile (Scrum) and scripting.

  • Extensive experience in defining and leading Automation Framework implementations.
  • Proficient in automation using Tosca tool and bespoke scripting in C#
  • Programming skills in Java and Python
  • Experience developing test automation for web UI’s using Selenium and SpecFlow.
  • Experience developing API-level test automation for RESTful services. 
  • Good experience in BDD and TDD.
  • Experience of defining Test Automation frameworks.
  • Experience in hardware automation (robotics – embedded software) is nice to have
