What you'll be doing:

We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced Data Governance/ Management Business Consultant to join our growing Data & Intelligence practice. The ideal person for this role loves to collaborate with other Data professionals, engineers, and business or operations experts to understand and address their data needs.

You will share a passion for Data, how it can be used to develop Data Driven Businesses, the importance of managing data as a strategic business asset. You will bring innovative ideas and thrive in an environment that embraces collaboration with clients and internal teams to scope, plan and execute projects on time and within budget.

What you'll need:

Data Governance and Management Consultants will have strong experience in defining, shaping and implementing Data solutions within organisations and a good understanding of the latest tools, which can be used to support these capabilities,
You will be expected to:

  • Support client partners and practice leads in pre-sales activities.
  • Act as a go-to practitioner in the area of implementing Data Governance/ Management organisations.
  • Input into the shaping of Data Governance/ Management engagements.
  • Deliver Data Governance/ Management implementation projects with/ for our clients.
  • Support the education of the wider Data & Intelligence practice in the field of Data Governance/ Management.

...and finally:

  • Experience of Data Catalogues, Data Lineage, Data Quality Management, Reference Data Management, Metadata Management and Master Data Management.
  • Understanding of the People, Process and Operating Model requirements to support successful Data Governance/ Management solutions.
  • A successful track record in delivering Data Governance projects on time and to budget.
  • Comfortable developing and shaping the project vision.
  • The ability to demonstrate core consulting values.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, and work with resources to convert these into compelling Data Management experiences.
  • Ability to articulate the purpose and value of Data Governance/ Management to business stakeholders.
  • Must be able to interface with and manage relationships with business people and technologists at a variety of levels showing competence in both areas.
  • Strong experience in either, or all, of the Telco-Media, Insurance, or Public Sectors required.
  • Good understanding of GDPR and the Data Governance/ Management implications.
