Site Reliability Engineer
Solutions Architecture, London

Who we are:

Join NTT in the UK and you will be joining a growing company where you will be more than just another employee. With an entrepreneurial attitude, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and stand out from the crowd. At NTT we help develop innovative business and IT solutions for some of the most respected organisations in the public and private sectors.

What you'll be doing:

You are the builder here. You are smart, motivated, and enjoy surrounding yourself with diverse people who support you to do your best work.

You love automating and thinking outside of the box. Creating regular releases to get away from the cumbersome manual tasks. You are used to working with tools like Jira to create releases, GitLab/Jenkins for CI/CD, Terraform and Ansible to name just a few.

You could be working as a DevOps Engineer and have a role which stretches across the whole business as your insight is not just focused on a single area.

Your Experiences should include

  • Knowledge of best practices around AWS, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins (CI/CD)
  • Configuration management and systems orchestration
  • Solid scripting background with IaaC and some development experience
  • Working with developers and a history of leading DevOps mind sets towards your environment
  • Working as a DevOps Engineer/SRE or similar for at least 4 years

We understand that there are 100s of tools on the market and the ability to adapt and learn to these are key. That’s why this role isn’t about having a single set of skills but someone who understands a broad range of them and can grow/learn. We are interested to hear your story and what experiences you’ve learned.

What you'll need:

You will be joining our team in the heart of London, working with similar minded engineers from all backgrounds (Azure, GCP & AWS) to replicate, streamline and automate deployment processes towards our projects.

Your role will see you recommending the appropriate strategy, methodology and tooling for a client’s business and technical challenges and promoting innovation within your team.

You'll implement the appropriate engineering practices and tooling for infrastructure, hosting, continuous delivery and testing.

You’ll find a new community at NTT Data UK within the DevOps Team which hold regular Deep Dives and insights to all our work. Allowing a great place to learn and grow your career with us.

...and finally:

Our team believes in a strong professional community where each individual can mentor others and be mentored, and can grow professionally through training and support to reach their career goals. The focus on clients, teamwork and foresight form our DNA and we are looking for someone who shares and embodies these core values, leading by example.

To support your hard work and dedication, we will offer you the following:

  • 25 days of annual leave, with the possibility to buy or sell 5 days within your first month
  • The opportunity, as we grow, to experiment in new industries in both public and private sectors
  • An online training with 3000+ courses, accessible from everywhere, to sharpen your skills
  • An environment that fosters personal and professional development, with regular workshops and bootcamps
  •  …And much more!
