The role involves the following
- Development and support of client applications
- Pull Request Reviews of code developed by other departments
- In-and-out-of-hours support of production applications
- Design and Develop APIGEE Edge solutions for clients
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Implementation of security and data protectin
- Define REST API/JSON specification
- Collaborate API spec with other teams
- Define test cases for API
- Creation of Mocks
- Integrate with backend systems/systems of record
- Pull Request Reviews of code developed by other departments
- Must have knowledge of test driven development, CI/CD processes and Microservices.
- Must have experience of working in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban)/DevOps environment
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Must have experience with API/Microservices
- Must have experience with most of the following:
- API Management platforms e.g. APIGEE Edge, Mulesoft, or WSO2
- Swagger/RAML
- Java
- Javascript
- REST/JSON/XML
- Modern identity standards – Oauth, OpenID Connect
- Implementing complex API services
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools ( Git or SVN )
