What you'll need:

Our Business Consultants have a hugely value skill set to and play a significant role in our success helping our clients with establishing digital transformation; defining and implementing strategy; applying design thinking, business analysis and process re-engineering to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. Combining strong consultancy and industry background our Business Consultants demonstrate outstanding core consultancy values, leading our clients in design, delivery and governance of end-to-end change programmes from inception through to successful completion.

Activities also include helping our clients to identify and implement the organisational culture they need to deliver strategic objectives, equipping and supporting individuals and wider teams to fully realise the people and business benefits of transformational change; applying human-centred design methods to business challenges to identify opportunities to unlock value through shaping new products and services, optimised operations and better customer and employee experiences; defining what is needed to deliver the value product owners seek and ensure that the planned changes deliver tangible value and measurable benefits.

We also all contribute to growth.  This means being a part of business development and proactively finding opportunities to support the growth of others, be they team members, clients or charities that we support.

  • Leading clients’ business and people-focused transformations.  This includes end-to-end ownership of the business and people work streams, any associated resources, and identification and measurement of client value generated.  The magnitude of previous challenges needs to be very high, such as one or more of the following:
    • Very large numbers of impacted stakeholders
    • Very complex programmes of change, including multiple competing challenges across an operating model
    • Multiple regions, cultures and languages in global deliveries
    • Highly political environments
  • Using, tailoring and improving on change and transformation delivery methodologies such as:
    • ProSci
    • APMG
    • Another consulting firm’s standard methodology
  • Being a core part of business development and sales teams [these are likely as part of an practice / account team or as bench work], including:
    • Identifying client problems, possible leads and qualifying as saleable opportunities
    • Leading solution development in response to a client’s business problem
    • Owning the subject matter input into and during pitching
    • Contributing to the building of cost and pricing models
  • Being able to deliver consulting activities, including leading work streams across multiple of our other Business Consulting capability areas:
    • Business analysis
    • Business architecture
    • Business design
    • Culture change
    • Value management
