The team you'll be working with:

The Vetting Operations Team are the core of Personal security operations within NTT Data. The team provide an effective personnel security culture and the day to day management and delivery of personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general security processes. The team advise management on the interpretation and implementation of contractual and, where appropriate, legislative security controls.

What you'll be doing:

NTT Data UK are hiring for a Senior Security Coordinator to assist and scale the security clearance aftercare process. While supporting the Head of Vetting with security development and wider physical security transformation.  

  • Management of security aftercare process and Insider Threat Risk Management. You will be responsible for the ongoing implementation of a security risk management policy and of regular insider threat reviews.
  • Assist with production and implementation of policies and processes for the appropriate handling of all Aftercare-related activities, including Security Appraisal forms, change of personal circumstance reports and Aftercare incident reporting.  
  • Implementation of policy and protocols for monitoring the security conduct of staff to identify suspicious behaviour and / or to identify NSV individuals who may be vulnerable or susceptible to coercion.
  • Implementation of mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of security training as well as any ongoing improvements to training.
  • Readily available for consultation and giving security advice to client management and employees within NTT Data.
  • Assist with co-ordinating the planning of appropriate security controls for a new contract or for the alteration of buildings where classified assets are to be handled, stored or produced; to FSC standard.
  • Assist with the current security transformation project providing expertise on both IPSA/FSC implementation, with working knowledge of UK Government.  

What experience you'll bring:

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of FSC / IPSA accredited business or involvement with UK Government Security Frameworks
  • Demonstrate experience managing insider threat for UK government or accredited FSC/IPSA business.  
  • Comprehensive understanding of NVS process and aftercare requirements.
  • Ability to identify clear outcomes and approaches regarding physical security.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ISO2001 standard for cyber security.
  • Previous experience of working in secure environment adhering to security measures and data protection principles.
  • Ability to analyse information thoroughly and critically and produce comprehensive and detailed reports on a wide range of complex security issues.
  • Demonstrate experience of producing security policy.
  • Ability to undergo and successfully compete SC process with potential for DV clearance.
