Growing our UK and Ireland Banking & Financial Services (BF&S) business is a key corporate objective, and we are in a rapid growth phase powered by centralised investments. We are a diverse team of banking experts and sales leads, collectively driving a high-performing team and market leading offerings to our banking clients. The opportunity has arisen for a dynamic client focussed individual to join the BFS team to help contribute further to our market expansion.
In this role you will have full P&L responsibility for a large single or small portfolio of existing clients within the B&FS sector. You will build a strategy that delivers in line with budget revenue and profit targets to ensure account success (CSAT) and maintenance and growth.
Acting as a senior ambassador for the NTT DATA brand and service offerings, you will cultivate long term client relationships with key client personnel (up to C-suite), developing a deep understanding of their business, it’s ambitions and drivers, to identify and explore potential opportunities for further revenue growth. This is underpinned by your thorough understanding of current and future trends within banking and financial services.
Working collaboratively across NTT DATA internal teams, you will ensure that our services meet the client’s needs and expectations, in terms of behaviours, innovation, value for money and other key differentiators to retain long term client relationships.
What you will need
· Ability to maintain constructive relationships with sales support and service lines to construct solutions for meeting client’s business needs with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
· Bring new ideas and perspectives to executives’ agnostic of immediate sales opportunities
· Building vendor and other partner relationships to drive the business forward
· Uses industry expertise and thought leadership to identify market trends, navigate change, avoid pitfalls, and transform business process.
· Ability to navigate large, complex, geographically dispersed organizations at the "C" executive level and other key decision makers
· Ability to advise on the role of technology in business and how companies can leverage technology for competitive advantage.
· Focus on meeting customer needs, building productive relationships, and maximize customer satisfaction.
· Leading collaborative approaches with sector peers, delivery and the practice and service lines
· Ability to identify opportunities, manage pipeline, close sales and manage revenue with a clear growth mindset
· Effectively market our multiple services offerings and digital capabilities based on client-specific business priorities, co-create multiyear roadmap to transform and digitally uplift client's organization.
· Articulate and tailor value propositions based on the needs identified for client and differentiation of our company
· Manage the mix of new vs renewal and drive proactive sales efforts
· Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an on-going basis
· Clear understanding of key competitors including areas of focus and key strategies
· Ability to drive the end-to-end internal sales process from inception through deal closure including full understanding of all client deliverables, solutioning, pricing, proposals, and governance. Develops relationships and networks for the resources needed to manage a pursuit.
· Negotiate the pricing and commercials in a manner that meets profitability goals
· Ability to create a deal that aligns the business objectives of the Client with our services and offerings.
· Ability to present and articulate content in a dynamic, influential, and confident manner on the topic at hand (i.e. – oral presentation, 1:1 and written)
· Managing the commercial/contractual relationship with the client, negotiating terms and conditions, utilising the expertise in our legal and commercial teams to develop innovative and market leading deals and terms
Financial Management and Targets
· Ability to interpret financial information, identify risks and opportunities, and implement change programs to maximize profitability.
· Skilled at managing a P&L through robust pipeline management, utilising tools such as Salesforce to ensure full portfolio of opportunities captured
· Regularly review progress and define strategy to exceed targets
· Assuring work order cover across client base and being accountable
· Delivery of budgeted margin – project margin and net margin
What experience you’ll bring:
· Significant experience with 10+ years in a sales role within Financial Services Technology
· Experience using Salesforce and ERP systems for team, opportunity and pipeline management
· Demonstrable leadership and team management experience
