The team you'll be working with:

The Vice President, Data and AI Practice is a visionary and strategic leadership role responsible for defining, building, and deploying effective and targeted strategic programmes to accelerate sales, customer engagement, and service delivery activities globally. This role is accountable for the success of a Data and AI function within the organisation, as well as the associated global profit and loss (P&L) statement, ensuring that the business unit remains profitable with a year-on-year cost improvement.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the financial performance and strategic direction of the Data and AI services function within the organisation. You will work closely with Executive Leadership to translate organisational strategy into a global services strategy, manage client relationships, and ensure the timely development and delivery of innovative solutions. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring that service delivery meets customer expectations by:

  • Setting and executing long and short-term strategy, establishing and delivering against annual business plans and budgets, and continuing to strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships while investing in the development of employees.
  • Growing and managing sustainable and profitable client relationships across all verticals in coordination with the wider business.
  • Ensuring the timely development of relevant service/products based on the roadmap, ensuring the organisation stays ahead of its competitors.
  • Creating strong interlocks with regional sales teams ensuring value propositions are understood and that teams meet their targets.
  • Operating at a global level, working in collaboration with the Services Leadership teams to help craft a global service strategy.
  • Defining and launching innovative and cutting-edge solutions to help clients leverage data and AI technologies optimally, aligning with their business requirements.
  • Strengthening and maturing service delivery and overall customer interaction, ensuring service delivery meets customer expectations around service quality and responsiveness.
  • Driving the delivery organisation towards set objectives, taking an active part in customer escalations when needed, and investing in training and promoting a culture that fosters innovation and excellence.
  • Building, leading, and retaining a strong organisation through effective hiring and by empowering, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Infusing a sense of ownership and pride in the team, creating and maintaining a culture of excellence within remit.
  • Leading by example, displaying the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity at all times.

What experience you'll bring:

You will bring extensive experience in Managed Services, particularly in service delivery and client service management, along with a strong network of relevant contacts. Your background in operating in global markets, transforming legacy businesses, and leading high-performing teams will be essential. Additionally, your ability to create client value while maintaining profitable business results, coupled with your deep understanding of various IT domains, will make you a valuable asset to our organisation. You will also bring:

  • A charismatic people leader who leads from the front and demonstrates the ability to attract the best talent in a competitive market.
  • Thought leader with in-depth knowledge of managed services, IT service management, and related technologies.
  • Network savvy with the ability to communicate confidently at the C-level and build meaningful internal and external relationships in both technology and business organisations.
  • Immediate credibility with Executive Leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Strong commercial presence and sense of urgency in account relationships and delivery execution.
  • Problem solver who leads from the front and takes risks when necessary.
