The team you'll be working with:

Supporting the General Service Lead in day-to-day activities, the role is a core part of our Real Estate and Workplace Management, keeping the UK’s property portfolio working day to day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Log building faults and maintenance requests into the property asset management system and ensure relevant RE&WS teams are informed of actions required. 
  • Supporting with meeting room set up and escalating AV issues to IT.
  • Being the Real Estate point of contact for helpdesk tickets – ensuring resolutions and escalating where necessary
  • Managing courier requests.
  • Managing day to day admin for the function.
  • Filing of site records, and other administrative activities.
  • Engaging with suppliers day to day on business as usual office supply matters.
  • Management of cleaning/janitorial services.
  • Support of regular checks of equipment are completed in accordance with specified procedures
  • Maintain physical security of our offices - running reports, and resolving issues in the first instance. Any escalations to GS Lead.
  • Respond to minor maintenance issues, or escalate through the appropriate process for more serious issues.
  • Undertake fire warden duties in the event of a building fire evacuation or evacuation drill.
  • Be an Office First Aider Small furniture assembly.
  • Cover reception when needed.
  • Other ad-hoc activities.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Facilities background
  • Keyboard skills and basic computer literacy.
  • A good knowledge of IT packages.
  • Ability to demonstrate proactiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Good communications skills.
  • A desire to develop and undertake training as and when required.
  • Knowledge of Purchase ordering and GRN process
  • Nice to have: Experience with purchase ordering software, First Aid, Experience working within a front of house team
