What you'll be doing:

  • As part of this Modern Workplace role, you will be involved in creating, maintaining and supporting all aspects of End User Compute and Modern Workplace solutions for enterprise clients, acting as an SME in your specialised areas of Modern Device Management
  • Technical design, administration and advisory for modern device management
  • A proven background in application packaging and deployment utilising methods from scripts to MSIX
  • Organise the implementation through constant improvement of information systems, data handing, processes/procedures, organisation, and equipment
  • Utilise your excellent communication skills to interface with the client and internal customers
  • Ensure you develop yourself through offered training and collaborative forums to stay up to date with emerging Microsoft capabilities to ensure you are offering nothing short of excellence
  • Take part in pre-issue/post-issue peer reviews, utilising your expertise and up-to-date knowledge to advise on remediation plans
  • Explain and promote the features and benefits of solutions to internal and external customers
  • Supporting, coaching, and developing junior members of the Workplace Team
  • Support the smooth handover of projects as part of a delivery team and acting as an escalation point

What you'll need:

  • Experience across Modern Device Management and M365 coupled with a relevant longstanding background in broader End User Computing
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of multiple aspects of M365, examples include: Teams, Intune, M365, Conditional Access, Licencing etc.
  • Core knowledge and understanding of the wider Microsoft 365 stack, such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange & Power Platform
  • Have solid knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions such as Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune & Windows Autopilot
  • Experience contributing to designs and managing change controls
  • Excellent documentation skills are mandatory
  • Have a solid understanding and capability towards PowerShell and independence in creating scripts & automations
  • A solid understanding and practical experience of Active Directory & Azure AD
  • Be versed in Microsoft security products and features, recommending the proper usage and configuration of them
  • Highly committed, motivated, and a self-starter – must be proactive rather than waiting for a steer from above
  • Ownership of Device Build’s and technical ownership of the end user experience will be desirable
