As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Glasgow

The work is to be done on the client's premises in Glasgow city center at least 2 or 3 days per week. The necessity in this project is for an experienced Scrum Master to help removing the current silos and bring the necessary people together to work as a squad to work in a more agile and collaborative way and to become more focused on delivering shared goals.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Work in lock step with the Agility Management Office to ensure approach & uniformity across Scottish Power
  • Facilitation of Agile Ceremonies & Workshops
  • Capture of End of Sprint Metrics and Milestones
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on team problem solving
  • Coach on Agility values & principles
  • Helping the team identify impediments and discover ways to manage dependencies and blockers
  • Coaching and enabling the team to provide delivery and customer value through iterative delivery
  • Coaching teams and Product Owners on the  best practices to support backlog management

What you'll need:

  • Experience in strategic Agile Coaching and delivery role
  • Deep Lean/Agile skills
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, training, mentoring and professional coaching
  • Understanding and experience in working in Scaled Agility (SAFe)
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian Jira & confluence
  • Good skills and knowledge of lean servant leadership, facilitations, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement
