As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Data & Analytics team in London.
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a senior manager for our Data and Analytics practice to lead an effective transformation program with one of the top banks in the UK. The role will require the ability to work on day-to-day projects with a hands-on capacity if required
As a manager you will uphold the essence of the company, be a focal point for your team, colleagues and clients and be involved in decisions to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
What you'll need:
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Strong expertise in current Data and Cloud technologies and software
- Experience training and mentoring staff, providing technical expertise, and acting as a liaison among customers, team and executive team.
- IT and digital skills (databases, data formats, architectures, etc), particularly you should have practical experience with:
- Big Data technologies mainly Spark
- Data Cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- SQL
- Experience managing project financials.
- Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering results.
Nice to have:
- Traditional BI and ETL development
- Data modelling skills
- Cloud databases
