As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for Telecom Solution Architects to join our Enterprise & Cloud Solutions department in London and support one of our clients within the telecommunications sector.


What you'll be doing:

•       Provide Technical Architecture design for client Telecoms BSS/OSS transformation

•       Design Telco technology solutions that are compliant with target-state architecture models, and minimise spending on legacy technologies while maintaining business continuity.

•       Work with vendors, development partners and internal Subject Matter Experts on the identification of cost-effective, fit for purpose and strategically aligned solutions.

•       With your knowledge of various BSS domains lead the Architecture design and technical team (ie. CRM, T2R, Mediation, Lead to Order, Billing, Order Management, Data, Cloud etc)

•       Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the platforms and products

•       Ensuring that the solution accurately reflects and meets the defined expectations of the business (functional requirements ad process perspective, proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored)

•       You will deliver architecture and design artefacts, including (but not limited to) architectural models and diagrams, interface control documents and software design specifications.

•       Identify and confirm technical design risks, and develop mitigating approaches

•       Provide a high level of effort estimates for proposed technical solutions

•       Articulate the benefits and risks to a (technical) solution’s feasibility and functionality

•       Maintain in-depth knowledge of emerging technology, industry and market trends

•       Demonstrate thought leadership through publishing, public speaking through technical presentation to clients and the design authorities

•       Coach and mentor junior technical team members

What you'll need:

•       Ideally 3-5 years of experience in Telecoms BSS/OSS solutions architecture  with "hands-on" implementation experience

•       Ability to define the system architecture design and landscape to identify gaps between current and desired end-states

•       Proven ability to design and optimise business processes and define solutions that support this by leveraging the BSS/OSS platforms and products in the best way

•       Knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign on and data security

•       Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients

•       Beneficial: experience in delivering enterprise applications – Salesforce Communications Cloud

•       Extensive experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods

•       Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills

•       Desirable experience in Architecting BSS solutions on the Salesforce platform
