What you'll be doing:
We are hiring Senior QA Automation Consultant who wants to take the next step in their career. You will be keen to learn new technologies, tools, methodologies and take an innovative approach to solving complex issues.
Work with a variety of clients advising on appropriate methodology, tooling and strategy for testing any particular technical stack
Implementation of BDD and TDD as part of an Agile delivery team
Advise clients on best practices and why certain design patterns are adopted and the problems they solve
Coaching teams and individuals in tools and engineering practices
Breaking down organisational silo’s by removing barriers, automating processes and workflows
What you'll need:
- Experience of building complex test automation frameworks from scratch using Java or Python
- Good coding skills (SOLID, DI, Design Patterns, etc.)
- Able to unit test the framework built
- Working with repositories (preferably Git)
- Automation experience (Cucumber/Specflow, XUnit, TestNg, etc.)
- Web UI testing experience (different browsers)
- Automation testing experience, have used the Test Automation Pyramid model.
- Experience with MS Azure.
- Experience of CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of API testing.
- Non Functional testing experience ideally using LoadRunner plugin for Azure DevOps.
- Experience of MS Visual Studio.
- Rest Assured
- Unit tests for MSTestxUnit with FakeXRMEasy, an open source mocking framework.
- API testing using Postman.
- UI tests, automated using EasyRepro.
Nice to have
- Mocks and stubs
- Advanced Devops knowledge
- Deep Agile Development knowledgeAbility to lead projects and design test strategy
- SC Clearance, or ability to be SC Cleared
