About you:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Senior Data Engineer to join our existing team to focus on helping our clients deliver results against some of their most complex business and technology initiatives.
The team are experienced in establishing collaborative partnerships with team members to help them adopt or improve their use of automation during their Continuous Delivery cycle and implementation of suitable engineering practices.
They also provide coaching at a team level and can assess the delivery environment in order to recommend engineering practices, tailored to the client’s needs.
What to expect:
Specifically, we are looking for someone with experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation for BI solutions using data sourced from various enterprise applications. You will design and build the necessary data integrations and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes to accurately move data to and from the EDW, to produce timely and relevant reporting and analytic solutions. In addition to these activities, this role will be integral in the continued evolution of our business intelligence initiatives. Specifically, the role will evaluate new technologies, data sources, and processes that align with the organization's desire to treat data as an asset and provide the business with enhanced analytic capabilities.
- Hands-on involvement in the design, development and implementation of optimal, scalable BI solutions

Work with business analysts, product owners, and scrum masters to ensure high quality, high performing solutions to meet the business needs

Design and Builds ETL processes to pull various data types from various data sources; structured or unstructured, on-prem or Cloud sources

Create technical design and support documentation

Troubleshoots BI tool problems and tunes for performance, validates existing data warehouse systems for data integrity, quality and accuracy and recommends improvements

Regularly interacts with business SMEs to understand and refine requirements, participate in all phases of SDLC, from system analysis and design thru development and test to deployment and support
