Own the design, implementation and ongoing governance of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. The role acts as technical design authority, turning business requirements into secure, scalable and supportable solutions and guiding delivery from discovery into BAU.
What you'll be doing:
Define target architectures, technology roadmaps, reference patterns, solution designs and non-functional requirements.
• Design and lead delivery across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Purview.
• Architect Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power Pages, including environment strategy, DLP, connector controls, ALM and CI/CD.
• Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness and design Copilot Studio agents, covering permissions, information protection, knowledge sources, integrations, authentication and responsible AI controls.
• Establish platform governance for security, compliance, access, solution ownership, capacity, licensing, change, lifecycle and exceptions.
• Provide design assurance, technical leadership and stakeholder workshops, clearly communicating technical options, risks and recommendations.
• Oversee implementation, testing, production readiness, documentation, transition into support, monitoring and continual service improvement.
What experience you'll bring:
Proven enterprise experience as a Microsoft 365, Digital Workplace, Power Platform or Cloud Solution Architect.
• Strong architecture and implementation expertise across Microsoft 365 workloads, Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Purview.
• Hands-on Power Platform expertise covering Dataverse security, environment governance, DLP, integrations, ALM and deployment pipelines.
• Practical experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or Copilot Studio agents, including data readiness, security and AI governance.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, Conditional Access, RBAC, information protection, retention and audit, plus Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, APIs and Azure integrations.
• Strong architecture documentation, delivery leadership, consulting and stakeholder-management skills. Experience in public-sector or regulated environments is desirable.
The successful candidate must hold current UK SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo BPSS and SC vetting. Appointment to cleared assignments will depend on clearance being granted and maintained.
