- Leading large-scale, complex technology portfolios (£30m+) for Banking & Financial Services clients
- Managing end-to-end delivery including planning, execution, monitoring, and control
- Building and maintaining strong senior client relationships, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
- Consistently delivering exceptional service supported by a disciplined “no surprises” approach
- Operating across the full delivery lifecycle, including proactive engagement through pre-sales and sales to validate proposals from a delivery perspective
- Leading cross-disciplinary teams across multiple programmes, including performance management, objective setting, and capability development
- Ensuring robust governance, assurance, and accurate reporting of programme performance to all stakeholders
- Collaborating closely with Client Partners and senior leadership to drive account growth
- Proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, change, quality, and configuration
- Defining and tracking KPIs to monitor and control delivery performance
- Owning programme financial management, including budget control and contractual performance
- Identifying and mobilising suitably qualified resources in collaboration with internal service lines
- Building a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and delivery excellence
What experience you'll bring:
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technology programmes and portfolios (£30m+) for UK Tier-1 Banking clients
- Demonstrable delivery leadership experience across Financial Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Commercial Banking
- Strong understanding of UK banking operating models, regulatory expectations, and risk & control frameworks
- Extensive experience delivering end-to-end programmes across the full lifecycle, from mobilisation through transition to BAU
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed delivery teams across complex programmes
- Deep experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, MSP, and hybrid delivery models within regulated banking environments
- Strong capability in managing complex risks, issues, dependencies, and change while maintaining delivery control
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen including programme financial management, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimisation
- Experience managing Statements of Work, change control, and delivery financial governance
- Proven leadership and people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and capability development
- Experience supporting pre-sales engagements and shaping delivery approaches for UK Tier-1 banking clients
