The team you'll be working with:

The Salesforce Presales Lead reports directly to the UK&I Practice Lead for Salesforce, and is responsible for leading presales, to grow and strengthen our UK&I business and partnerships. This role requires cross-industry collaboration, in-depth understanding of customer requirements, and designing and presenting unique and innovative Salesforce-based solutions. The ideal candidate will already be doing a similar role, will come with extensive expertise in Salesforce, demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, a client centric and creative mindset to ensure proposed solutions are aligned to our client needs and industry standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead presales establish ways of working as part of the Salesforce practice operating model
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the presales team
  • Align presales strategy with overall company strategy
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and proof of concepts
  • Provide technical and business expertise during sales presentations, setting the ‘gold standard’ across our engagements, to varying stakeholders, including c-suite
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand market trends and gaps and key win themes
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product innovation, advisory, delivery, and change, to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
  • In collaboration with the sub practices, manage allocation and skills to ensure the team is effectively supporting sales and delivery
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pre-sales efficiency and effectiveness, identifying future improvements
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, ability to communicate with and engage stakeholders at all levels, to build trusted relationships
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients across Salesforce capabilities and industry trends
  • Design and present scalable and innovative Salesforce solutions, responding to client needs and proactive go to market campaigns
  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with Salesforce best practices and industry standards
  • Increase brand awareness of our UK&I team, strengthening partnerships across our people, partners and clients
  • Engage Salesforce and other partners, for shaping the right proposal
  • Stay informed on the latest developments across Salesforce technologies and competitor offerings

What experience you'll bring:

 

  • Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Proven track record of leading and managing pre-sales teams
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce products
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience in Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimation to shape and size requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close large-scale Salesforce deals.
  • Familiarity with commercial models, agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Salesforce certifications across the 360 are highly desirable.
  • Experience in solution architecture and designing enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering client value
