The team you'll be working with:

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, the People & Culture Consultant is a proactive business enabler and the first point of contact for people-related matters within a designated client group. This role partners closely with managers and leaders, guiding them beyond policy to address broader business change and evolving people needs. The Consultant builds leadership capability, coaches managers, and ensures the annual People & Culture cycle is delivered and people development is embedded.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a proactive partner to managers and leaders, understanding their business area, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Guide and advise managers not only on policies but also on broader business changes, transformation, and people-related needs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact to managers for all people-related matters, providing expert advice and support.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams and regions.
  • Drive the People & Culture agenda, influencing business initiatives, operational best practices, and change management.
  • Provide coaching and development support to managers, building their leadership and people management capability.
  • Support and challenge leaders to embed a high-performance and inclusive culture.
  • Advise and support on key organisational change initiatives (e.g., culture change, reorganisations, organisational design).
  • Partner with managers to anticipate and address the people implications of business change.
  • Ensure the annual People & Culture cycle (e.g., performance, talent, reward, engagement) is delivered effectively.
  • Champion people development, succession planning, and talent management within the business area.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Expertise (COEs) to deliver programs in employee engagement, career paths, succession planning, performance, compensation, recruitment, and retention.
  • Guide on employee relations issues and performance management case in collaboration with Advisory
  • Interpret and advise on policies, ensuring compliance and best practice
