Security Operations Manager – Sovereign SOC
Full-time onsite in Birmingham - WE WILL PAY FOR RELOCATION IF REQUIRED
Are you ready to lead in one of the most demanding and rewarding security environments in the UK? We are seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Sovereign Security Operations Centre (SOC), housed in a large, dedicated facility designed for resilience and scale. You’ll serve prominent UK organizations with premium listings and stringent security requirements.

You’ll be at the forefront of protecting high-priority and essential systems that blend traditional IT with specialized Operational Technology, facing technical, operational, human, and regulatory challenges that demand creativity, resilience, and strategic thinking.
What you'll be doing;
- Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of skilled analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Client-Facing Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between security operations and business priorities.
- Drive Operational Performance: Oversee service delivery, incident response, and operational efficiency within established frameworks.
- Strategic Oversight: Balance hands-on technical engagement with high-level planning to maintain a robust security posture.
- Innovate Under Pressure: Navigate complex threat landscapes and regulatory requirements while ensuring high availability of services.
What experience you'll bring:

- 5 years + experience in SOC operations, incident response, and security frameworks.

- Need to be SC eligible - been living in the UK for the past 4 years consistently, not been outside for more than 6 months.
