The team you'll be working with:

At NTT DATA, we’re proud to play a vital role in delivering programs that make a difference within the Public Safety and Defense sector. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team, where you’ll help drive efficiency, keep projects on track, and support teams in delivering real impact.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the PMO Lead and project stakeholders, taking ownership of key responsibilities such as timesheet management, Kimble requests, contract (SOW) administration, purchase order and invoice tracking, reporting, planning, budget tracking, RAID management, and stakeholder communication. You’ll also play an important part in supporting project teams with resourcing, onboarding, and offboarding — helping to create a seamless experience for staff and ensuring every project is set up for success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Timesheet management, including setting up booking codes and expense management – related reporting and reconciliation
  • Using tools (Kimble) to forecast resource demand and track the assignment of resources
  • Tracking staff clearances
  • Managing the onboarding and offboarding of project staff
  • Managing contracts/SoWs, Purchase Orders and tracking Invoicing and billing
  • Highly Competent at gathering and organising information for wider leadership to use in decision making, reporting and tracking
  • Supporting the creation of business reports and the preparation of reviews
  • Tracking the progress of contractual deliverables
  • Budget management and successfully tracking the same for the programme and projects
  • Support the development and maintanance of project RAIDs
  • Maintaining visibility of all project staff in the sector, to support sector comms
  • Document management and tracking
  • Stakeholder communication, management and tracking
  • Access and Asset management
  • Highly collaborative, team players working effectively and efficiently within client Project Management Office

What experience you'll bring:

  • Must be able to operate with a high level of uncertainty
  • Must have experience working for a professional services / consulting organization and delivering into a client (as opposed to client-side delivery)
  • Good understanding of PMO processes and responsibilities
  • Good understanding of financial and commercial aspects of project and programme delivery
  • Must have a flexible, customer-focused approach and take the initiative to resolve issues
  • Problem solving skills
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Expertise in MS Excel is required
  • Working experience of SAP is desirable
  • Knowledge of MSP and PRINCE2 desirable
  • The role would suit highly capable but less experienced business consultants or delivery / project managers
